More info: Anna’s hummingbird is the most common species in California and one of the few native hummingbirds found all year round. The males have dark rose-red crowns and throats with a glossy finish and a metallic green back with a greyish underside. Anna’s hummingbird is also one of the most vocal hummingbird species.
