More info: The webcam shows a female osprey called Telyn who was born in Rutland in 2013. She has a blue ring - blue 3J – and has been breeding at Dyfi since 2018. The male is Idris who is unringed and has been at Dyfi since 2020.
The Dyfi Osprey Project is one of Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust's flagship projects based on the Cors Dyfi Reserve near Machynlleth on the west coast of mid Wales. The reserve is located on land reclaimed from the Estuary on the south side of the River Dyfi and is a mixture of bog, swamp, wet woodland and scrub which supports abundant wildlife.
Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust is part of The Wildlife Trusts, the largest UK voluntary organisation dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK's habitats and species whether they be in the countryside, in cities or at sea.
There are 47 local Wildlife Trusts across the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney.
The Dyfi Osprey Project, Dyfi Wildlife Centre and Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve are open every day from 10am - 5pm
