There are around 25 pairs of white storks at the Fulltofta Nature Centre which are part of an important breeding and release programme.

More info: The webcamera at the Fulltofta Stork Enclosure shows one of two large enclosures used for breeding storks and raising of the young. All young storks are released in to the wild every year, on the last Saturday of July.
The white stork was once common in the region of Skåne. But when they drained and cultivated the wetlands, the storks could no longer find food for their young. Through the Stork Project, Skåne hopes to regain a viable, migratory population of white storks.
