More info: Gunnar Hemme started his dairy farm in Uckernark in 1998 though his family have been in farming since 1589.
There are around 600 cows on the farm, which are milked twice a day. When the cows are not on pasture, they are fed alfalfa, grass, maize, rapeseed meal and a grain mixture. Ninety percent of the feed for the dairy cows is home produced.
The farm processes around 33,000 litres of milk a day.
The farm has an on site farm shop selling lots of milk products and a café.
