    Anan Creek has one of the largest runs of pink salmon in Southern Alaska which attracts a high density of both black and brown bears.


More info: Anan Wildlife Observatory is located in the heart of Tongass National Forest and is well known for its high density of black and brown bears. Visitors may aslo see bald eagles, harbor seals, otters, and occasionally, wolves and wolverines.
Located 30 miles southeast of Wrangell, Alaska, the Anan Wildlife Observatory is accessible only by boat or floatplane.
