More info: Baboons belong to the Group of Old World monkeys. There are two main species of baboons in Kenya – the Olive baboon and Yellow baboon. Unlike other monkeys, rather than living in trees, baboons spend most of their waking hours on the ground. Baboons can adapt to a range of habitats, and they eat a wide diversity of food.

Lentorre Lodge is situated on a spur running off the Nguruman Escarpment, in southern Kenya.
