More info: Bat World Sanctuary was founded in 1994 and is a non/profit organization providing a lifetime sanctuary to bats who have been rescued, orphaned, injured and mis-treated. Each year they rescue hundreds of bats which would otherwise probably perish.

The bat webcam shows the “feeding tree” where juice bottles, romaine lettuce, treat cups, treat puzzles and troughs of fresh cubed fruit are hung. The fruit mixture contains apples, pears, melon, berries & banana and assorted tropical fruit. A group of elderly African fruit bats usually gather under the tree first every evening. Egyptian fruit bats, Jamaican fruit bats and short-tailed fruit bats will also be seen at the troughs throughout the night.
