Info: Lentorre Lodge in Kenya is situated on on Kenya's southern border with Tanzania, on a spur running off the Nguruman Escarpment. It is beside a natural spring in the heart of the Olkiramatian Conservancy which is a community initiative developed by the local Maasai people in order to protect wildlife and thier traditional way of living.

Olkiramatian Conservancy is around 25,000 hectares in size and is home to a staggering variety of animal species and over 350 species of birds. The habitat comprises a mix of ancient forest on the slopes of the escarpment, rocky outcrops and a dry open plain with grassland and scrub. Here and within the neighbouring Shompole Conservancy, it is a short distance to the shores of the soda lakes of Natron and Magadi.
