The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is located on the western flank of the Kruger National Park on the border of the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces. It has a diverse range of ecosystems and landscapes, from open savannahs and dense woodlands to meandering rivers and rocky outcrops. Not only does this provide breathtaking scenery but it also supports a rich variety of wildlife.
The Reserve was established in 1972 and it is one of the largest private reserves in South Africa, being 60,000 hectares (or 148,000 acres).
