Info: Live webcam at Rietspruit Game Reserve in South Africa. Rietspruit Game Reserve is located just outside the town of Hoedspruit and close to the Greater Kruger National Park.

More info: Rietspruit Game Reserve covers an area of 5,444 hectares and is located at the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains, in the Limpopo Province.

Plains game species within the reserve include giraffe, zebra, eland, nyala, kudu,bushbuck, gnu and impala. Black rhino, white rhino and elephant roam freely on the reserve alongside a healthy predator populations of lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted and brown hyena and wild dog.

The vegetation on Rietspruit Game Reserve is predominately savannah, which is dotted with rocky outcrops and marginal forest riverine vegetation which allows the reserve to support such diverse wildlife.

There are ample water sources such as earth dams, natural pans and well placed water points throughout the area, allowing wildlife to make full use of the reserve even in the winter months.
