More info: The platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus), also known as the duck-billed platypus, is native to eastern Australia, including Tasmania. It is one of nature's weirdest creations with a bill and webbed feet like a duck, a tail like a beaver and the body of an otter. Adding to that, the male platypus are venomous and have sharp stingers on the heels of their rear feet which they can use to deliver a strong toxic blow to any enemy.
