more info: Reticulated giraffes are found in Somalia, southern Ethiopia, and northern Kenya, where they inhabit open savannah and wooded grasslands. They browse on leaves and because of their extraordinary height, they can reach branches with leaves and new shoots which other herbivores can’t reach. Giraffe favour the thorny acacia tree to any other plant. They also browse on leaves closer to the ground and may also eat fruit and even mineral rich soil.
